It's that time again...PROOFS FOR SALE!!!

This year will be a bit different from last in that not all of the proofs made it through the move and not everyone viewed printed proofs. Therefore, I will be offering to have the proofs reproduced if the interest is there. Please contact me if you are interested!

JUST SO YOU KNOW...

• These will be unmarked proofs, just like those in the proof albums.
• Proofs will be produced in sizes 4x5, 4x6, or 5x7. Order by January 3rd and receive 5x7 proofs at no additional cost!
• Price will vary depending upon your original order total, the size of proofs produced, and the number of proofs purchased.
• Proofs will be sold in sets based on the session itself. This will eliminate the need to sort through or decide how many you may want from a session. For example, if you had a spring and fall session with us but you only want to purchase the proofs from your spring session you will be purchasing all of the proofs from that session. Even if there are 50 proofs and you only want 2 (yes, this does happen), you would need to purchase all of them as a set. If you don't think that you want or need all of them you can give them to family or friends or start a scrapbook!
• Proof album and/or lay out is available for an additional fee.
• Images will not be placed online - please do not ask.
• This offer will not be extended - absolutely no exceptions.
• Images will be archived and all of those pesky fees, minimum orders, and regular pricing will apply if you decide that you want to reorder any images.
• Images not previously ordered as a print will not be accessible. This is your final opportunity to get those images that were "rejected" along with a copy of those that you loved.
• This will also keep these images on file and will allow you to reorder for up to 12 months!
• Some sessions may be unavailable for various reasons. However, most sessions are accessible, even those from daycare and promotional sessions within the past 12 months.
• All proof orders must be prepaid. Visa and MasterCard are accepted as well as cash, check, and money order.
• All payments must be received NO LATER THAN January 12th. Payments received after this date will be returned.
• Orders placed on or before January 3rd will automatically receive 5x7 proofs at no additional cost.

Santa Session opening available!

There are a couple of openings for the Santa sessions tomorrow, December 8th. The available times are 1:30p and 2pm. There may be others that cannot be confirmed so check with me at jill@dreamcapture.com if you're interested! The sessions last approximately 20-30 minutes and there is a session fee of $49 that includes an 8x10 and 12 wallets.

Last call for note cards and calendars...

This is the last call for note cards and calendars in order to have them back in time for the holidays. They extended the deadline already and I don't think it will happen again so please place your order for these items no later than November 30th. This will make sure that we get them back in time to give. Probably not enough time to mail unless locally, just keep that in mind.

Note card pricing is as follows:

$90 set of 25 tri-fold style ~ 5x5

Sold in sets of 25. Discount of 20% on each additional set of identical cards. All cards have the optional linen texture finish to add a touch of elegance. Envelopes are included as well and will be delivered with the cards. Occassionally, I do have them prior to the note cards if you want to stop by and pick them up to begin addressing them. Check with me first just to make sure I have them though! New templates have been uploaded to the website so check them out!

I am always searching for a planner that has enough room for my scribbling. Luckily, this one has it! You can personalize with an image of your choice and you can even include a line of text on the outside and up to 3-4 lines of text on the inside! New Product! Screen Savers

Now offering screen savers using the images purchased within the past 3-6 months. Images being used for advertising are available even if they weren't purchased within this time period. For a sample screen saver go to SCREENSAVER and click on the screensaver text. The cost will vary between $45-$85. You will receive 5 disks that can be given as stocking stuffers! Great for the digital picture frames that are the coolest office displays! Additional disks can be purchased for $5 each. Everyone will love these!

These must be pre-ordered. Orders will be accepted through December 7th. These are time intensive and will be ready for pick up on December 19th. A rush may be placed on your order for an additional fee of $25, delivery for rushed orders will be December 10th.

Santa stopped by!

Santa was great! He had so much patience and gave so much attention to everyone! It took a little bit for most everyone to warm up but once they did... They had a blast! Santa got a little bit silly... But, he listened to make sure he got the right things on the list. Some times he had to let the kids think for a minute, and some times he just played with the trains on the floor! They all seemed to like that!

We didn't use Santa's chair after the first 5 minutes, Santa just got down on the floor and stayed at the kids' level. I think it made a huge difference! Thank you Santa! We'll see you again on the 8th!!

Another natural

Straight out of the camera. Absolutely no editing or adjustment. I love it! There are only about 3 minutes in a given day to capture this light and I love it when I'm in the right place at the right time. It's even better when I'm with an open-minded subject that trusts me and allows me the freedom to "do my thing". This is the result......

Costume contest winner...

Apparently, I did not realize when I sent the email saying the images would be removed "tomorrow" that it was already "tomorrow". The images were scheduled to be removed on the 7th as the original email stated with the winning entrants to be announced on the 8th. I guess the image numbers were not written down due to my follow up email so I will have the images reposted and I will wait until Saturday, the 10th to announce the winners. This should allow enough time for them to get reposted, notification to be sent to everyone, and time for viewing.

SANTA IS COMING!!!

Yes, Santa will be coming to the studio! No need to stand in line at the mall in the midst of chaos and misery, we'll be doing scheduled time with Santa so your child will have a set time that they can see Santa! Sessions will be approximately 15-30 minutes for each child so if they need some time to warm up to the idea of sitting on a strangers lap (I know I do!) then they can go at their own pace. I won't just plop them down and expect them to smile. This is more about the experience than anything. I, of course, will capture the moments as they present themselves. Whether it's a few tears or quivering with excitement, it's something that you will never want to forget. This should be something exciting and fun instead of what usually ends up being the longest wait of their short lives. Ever see Christmas Story? Santa will take his time with each child and have a gift for them as well. There will be coffee, hot chocolate, juice, snacks, etc. for everyone so come and enjoy! Appts are still available in the afternoon on November 17th and sporatically on December 8th. November 18th is completely booked so the 8th was added recently. Pretty please...

I'd like to ask that if you make a request to have your images uploaded "as quickly as possible" or "so we can get the order process going" that you make sure that you are prepared to place your order. Keep in mind that the number of images produced may be reduced significantly. This is a time intensive process and I do process each image individually. While this isn't the same touch up as the final print, there is quite a bit of processing just to get them prepared for your viewing. If you are extremely anxious to view your images, it's best to skip the website viewing and do the personal review to begin with. Your order will be processed immediately following and you will receive it that much faster. Again, be prepared to place your order at this time. Images are being produced as quickly as possible without compromising the final product.
